Is it possible to attract new therapy clients with your mind?
Not only is it possible, it’s essential.
But you need to know how to do it and why it essential to get what you want….
Every deliberate action starts with a thought.
Growing a private practice takes a lot of deliberate actions that are part of a well thought out plan.
Without the elements of right effort, discipline, knowledge, planning and execution you would not be able to grow your practice.
But the real key to a successful practice lies beneath these elements.
Ask yourself, “what do I struggle most with in my career?”
Is it discipline, procrastination, risk-taking, submissiveness, money management, shyness, deflation, etc…
You probably have told yourself a story for a long time why you’re struggling with this hurdle that you can’t seem to fully overcome.
The story unfortunately hasn’t solved these hurdles, or you would no longer have that story and you would have achieved your goals.
The mind hack I’m about to reveal to you can literally help you overcome any hurdle in your career if you practice it daily.
Again, it’s simple, but like most things, takes a lot of practice.
So, here’s the mind hack plain and simple:
Everyday, convince yourself through a repeated affirmation until you have one hundred percent certainty that you will achieve your career aspirations.
For example, you might say to yourself, “I’m absolutely certain I will have a full-time practice by next year where I will help lots of people who are suffering unnecessarily, I will flourish financially and live abundantly, and I will continue to reach higher levels of attainment in the way I serve this world.”
Now, you might be thinking…that’s cheesy, too obvious, not possible, a fake-it-till-you-make-it technique, I kind of do that anyway, on and on.
I’ve studied countless hours of highly successful individuals in this world. There’s one common denominator I keep coming across. They eventually stop getting caught up in the emotion of failure, they use affirmations to balance the state of their mind, and eventually only see the vision of their success.
But know that there’s a big difference between living in the vision of your success and fantasizing about what you will get when you achieve your goal.
When you’re living in the vision of your success you see in your mind’s eye all the clients in your office day-after-day that you will help, the beautiful office space that you’ve designed because you have the resources to do it, the continuing education trainings that you attend and can afford to help people further, the trip you’re on with your family where you rejuvenate, the car that brings you joy on your way to the office, etc.
The vision of your success is right there for you in your mind’s eye. It doesn’t take a lot of strain and effort. It also doesn’t come from a feeling of scarcity and lack. Your vision of success arises in your mind from the certainty that you will achieve it.
Fantasizing comes from the feelings of scarcity, lack and desperation. It’s when you imagine having tons of money so you don’t have to feel insecure anymore. It’s those moments when you forget about serving more people, buying whatever you want whenever you want, if/then statements such as if I only had more money then I would no longer be stressed, ideas that you would feel better about yourself in front of a parent, friend or colleague because you have all this money, etc.
Your vision of success is essential. And convincing yourself with one hundred percent certainty it will happen is the key ingredient.
Why would most people believe in you If you’re not absolutely one hundred percent certain that you believe in yourself.
Why would that next prospective client believe in you if you’re not one hundred percent certain that you have a gift that every single client in your office needs.
Why would the universe want to provide you with more money if you were not absolutely certain that you’re going to flourish financially so you can live an abundant life, which will help you serve more people.
People, money, the environment and the universe responds to your conviction to what you want to achieve.
Time will bring your vision to this world once you truly believe it’s yours for the taking.
